My goal as a small business owner is to help underprivileged (middle and low class) individuals gain access to treatment that would otherwise be unattainable. The health care system as a whole is flawed when it comes to benefitting with a certain working class. Even if you are middle class, obtaining medical treatment is a task itself on top of paying for it.

I plan to leave a footprint to help those in need of CBD/Hemp products that are otherwise not available. There are many misconceptions with Hemp-derived CBD/Delta 8. Our products have a high CBD content and low THC content (below 0.3%). This makes it great for harnessing potentially therapeutic properties of CBD without any of the high or mind-altering effects of THC. CBD was FDA Approved in 2018.

Fact # 1 – Epidiolex 100mg/ml (cannabidiol) is a brand-name prescription drug that’s used to treat seizures caused by two forms of epilepsy: Lennox-Gastaut syndrome and Dravet syndrome. It contains 100 milligrams (mg) of CBD per milliliter (mL) of solution.

Fact #2 – CBD oil is labeled as a Schedule 1 drug by the United States Drug Enforcement Agency (DEA), as it contains THC, which is a narcotic. This category includes drugs like LSD, Heroin, Marijuana, and other drugs that have incredibly high abuse risk as claimed by the Controlled Substance Act.

So far, what they know is that the oil acts as an anti-inflammatory, muscle relaxer, painkiller, and treatment for post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD) as well as depression and anxiety, but there are no hardcore clinical based results. The government cannot fund trials until the DEA no longer claims CBD as a Schedule 1 narcotic. Drugs and other substances that are considered controlled substances under the Controlled Substances Act (CSA) are divided into five schedules. Schedule 1 being the most addictive.

***As a side note, any FDA-approved CBD product with no greater than 0.1% THC (tetrahydrocannabinols) are considered to be Schedule V Drugs. This class of drugs has a low potential for abuse.
